Arrival Notice

  • Scheduled Windows: We offer two arrival windows – either between 9am and 10am or 1pm and 3pm. Please note that our schedule might be influenced by factors such as unexpected cancellations, weather conditions, traffic, or changes in prior appointments.

  • Appointment Confirmations: Confirmations for appointments are always available via email. Additionally, clients have the option to receive updates and reminders via text message. Please indicate your preference for receiving these communications when scheduling your service.

  • Customer Availability: Customers are expected to be available during the scheduled arrival window or provide instructions for accessing the premises if they are not present.

  • Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy: To avoid charges, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled or postponed less than 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning time will incur a Late Cancellation Fee of 50% of the total booking price.

  • Arrival Time: Our service time begins upon our arrival at either the building’s lobby/front desk or the house's front door.

  • Notification of Delays: Should we encounter unexpected delays, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide an updated estimated time of arrival.

  • Travel Charges: If we need to collect keys from a different location, travel time will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

Pre-existing Damage and Liability

  • Scope of Maid Svc's Responsibility: Our services are exclusively limited to cleaning. Maid Svc is not responsible for repairing or rectifying any pre-existing damage to surfaces, appliances, or any other aspects of your home.

  • Client's Role in Damage Documentation: We encourage clients to document and report any known pre-existing damage prior to our service. This can be done through a pre-cleaning walkthrough with our staff or by submitting photographs of the existing condition.

  • Limitation on Damage Identification: Our cleaning professionals focus on providing high-quality cleaning services and may not identify all forms of pre-existing damage, especially those that are not readily visible or require specialized knowledge to detect.

  • Reporting Observed Damage: While we will make an effort to report any apparent pre-existing damage we notice during our service, Maid Svc is not liable for failing to report such damage. Our reporting is not a formal assessment and is based on the observable condition during the cleaning process.

  • Acknowledgment of Pre-existing Conditions: By using our services, clients acknowledge that Maid Svc shall not be held responsible for any pre-existing conditions or damage within the home that existed prior to our cleaning service.

  • Dispute Resolution: In case of any disputes regarding pre-existing damage, we are committed to resolving issues amicably. We aim for transparency and fairness in line with our customer service policies.

Operational Notices

  • Window and Balcony Cleaning Services: Maid Svc provides cleaning services for windows and some window treatments accessible with the use of a standard 9” step stool. Our services extend to internal windows and external windows located on balconies or those that are easily accessible from within the premises. Maid Svc expressly excludes from its services the cleaning of external windows that require specialized equipment or are situated in locations that present safety risks to our staff. Furthermore, the cleaning of external panels on balconies falls outside the purview of our provided services. Clients are advised that these exclusions are non-negotiable and are in place to ensure the safety of our personnel and the integrity of our service standards.

    Please note that we do not mop unfinished balcony floors.

  • Access to Electricity and Air Conditioning: To ensure the effective and efficient execution of our cleaning services, it is imperative that the premises have a functioning electricity supply and air conditioning. This is necessary for the operation of our power tools and other equipment, as well as to maintain a safe and comfortable working environment for our staff, particularly in adverse weather conditions. We kindly request clients to confirm the availability of these facilities before scheduling a cleaning session. In the event that these conditions are not met, Maid Svc reserves the right to reschedule or, if necessary, decline to provide service.

  • Concurrent Work and Its Implications: The presence of concurrent activities or additional work within the premises during the provision of our cleaning services may lead to variations in the time required to complete our tasks, as well as potential impacts on the quality of service delivered. Maid Svc endeavors to uphold its high standards of service; however, external factors which introduce uncontrollable variables may necessitate adjustments in service time and could potentially affect the quality of the services rendered.

  • Impact of Occupancy on Service Delivery: An increased number of individuals or workers present in the premises during the execution of our cleaning services may impede the efficiency of our operations and alter the accuracy of initial service estimates. Maid Svc recommends minimizing occupancy during the period of service to ensure the most effective and efficient cleaning process.

  • Safety Compliance Policy: In the interest of maintaining a safe working environment for our personnel, Maid Svc mandates that no additional jobs, especially those that could pose potential safety risks or cause significant distractions, be undertaken in the premises while cleaning services are being rendered.

  • Policy on Furniture Movement: Maid Svc's personnel are instructed not to engage in the moving of heavy furniture or similar items. This policy is in adherence to safety regulations and is intended to prevent injury to our staff and to preclude any accidental damage to client property. Clients requiring cleaning services under or around such heavy items are requested to make necessary arrangements for the movement of these items prior to the commencement of our services.

Participation Disclaimer

  • Testimonials and Client-Generated Content: Maid Svc is not responsible for the content of testimonials or any other material provided by clients and users. We provide a platform for sharing such content, but it does not necessarily reflect our views or endorsements. We assume no liability for the accuracy, truthfulness, or reliability of client-generated content.

  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes, conflicts, or disagreements between the client and Maid Svc related to our cleaning services, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve such issues through amicable discussions and negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, both parties may consider mediation or arbitration as a means of resolving the dispute, as governed by the laws of the state of Florida.
